National Guard Visit, Monday, Aug 8th, 6pm

We’re invited to visit the National Guard detachment in Winder, to learn more about what they do, and the equipment they use.  We’ll have the chance to see their helicopters up close.

We’ll meet at the church by 6pm, and travel over as a group.  Class A’s are required.

 

 

Summer Camp, June 12th – June 18th

This is the week we’ve been looking forward to all year!  We’ll be joining 1,200 scouts from as far away as South Florida, Texas and Virginia.

New this year is the ATV Safety class and Bartram’s Surprise, joining other classes such as Whitewater rafting, COPE and climbing.

We’ll be leaving New Liberty UMC on Sunday, June 12th, returning on Saturday, June 18th.

Drift Atlanta Work Project – May 6th and 7th

This year we will be having our Drift Atlanta work project on May 8th and 9th.

Everyone should arrive no later than 6:45am, on both Friday and Saturday.  Be prepared to work a 7am – 3pm shift on both days, and be prepared for warm weather. More details to come.

 

 

 

Winter Camporee, Friday, Jan 15th – Sunday, Jan 17th

We’ll be attending the Winter Camporee at Scoutland.  We will leave New Liberty UMC on Friday, Jan 15th, returning the afternoon of Sunday, Jan 17th.
